 | I have a B.A. in Communication/Theatre Arts. Yeah, my parents were thrilled - how did you guess? Theatre Arts is rewarding, challenging, creative and typically pays you in free tickets, applause, and a handful of spare change if you are lucky. I went into Web Design because it seemed a lot like Theatre for the computer. Only instead of putting on a show, you're putting up a site. And instead of surly stagehands you have surly server administrators. Instead of impressive but capricious actors you deal with impressive but capricious technology. Really, the parallels are endless. Costumers = Web designers. Set builders = Programmers. The Director is the project manager. The Producers are the clients. The audience are the end users. You get the point I'm sure.
Luckily for me, web design is also rewarding, challenging, creative and ensures that I will never (knock on wood) eat Top Ramen again! Three Cheers for Web Design!
Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working on a number of web sites, click here to view some samples of my work.
